What programs/services are available specifically to military students?Eligible veterans domiciled in Washington are entitled to a partial tuition waiver up to 50% of the cost of resident tuition or basic graduate tuition. Active duty military and their dependents stationed in the state of Washington are entitled to resident tuition rates. Dependents of 100% disabled veterans who reside in WA and KIA, POW, MIA are entitled to a 100% waiver of tuition and fees. University has a full-time Veterans Coordinator to address veterans issues and supervise veteran programs. Military students can find additional information about programs and services at va.wsu.edu.What is your policy on involuntary activation for military service?Upon receipt of deployment orders, student will receive a refund of 100% of tuition and mandatory fees, a pro-rated refund of housing and dining fees, and a pro-rated refund of parking fees.
