Veterans Day will be observed on Monday. Many restaurants and businesses across the country are showing gratitude to the nation’s veterans and active-duty service members by offering free or discounted products and meals.

Double-check with your local outlets to make sure they are participating in the offer listed and be sure to bring a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem available offers.

If your favorite place isn’t on the list, check with it anyway. There are many places who will be honoring your service and sacrifice on Veterans Day.

4Patriots — The emergency preparedness provider is offering its best-selling 72-hour survival food kit for free to all veterans and active-duty service members. To receive the food kit, veterans and active military must register on the 4Patriots Veterans Day Celebration Event page on Nov. 11 only. 

Applebee’s — Applebee’s is offering a free meal to all veterans and active-duty service members from a select menu on Veterans Day. Bring valid military identification or proof of service to redeem the offer. At participating restaurants, veterans also have the chance for a free beer. Applebee’s customers can buy a beer in advance for veterans between now and Nov. 10. This offer may vary by location, so be sure to check with your local Applebee’s to learn about their Veterans Day offerings. Check Applebee’s website for more details.

Bar Louie — Active-duty military and veterans get a free Craft Burger on Nov. 11 with a valid ID. Dine-in only.

Barrel & Bones — Smokehouse and craft bar Barrel & Bones will offer veterans and active-duty military a free item on Nov. 11. their choice of something from the “handhelds” section of the menu. The section includes sandwiches such as the Spicy Pastrami Brisket and Smoked French Dip.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse — Veterans can get a free cookie and ice cream called the Chocolate Chunk Pizookie along with a coupon for a free appetizer, which can be redeemed Nov. 12 through Dec. 31. Valid military ID or proof of service is required. Cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.

Black Rifle Coffee Company — Black Rifle Coffee Company is offering veterans a free 16 oz. coffee on Nov. 11. From Nov. 8-11 all coffee lovers can enjoy a 25% discount on retail merchandise. Also from Nov. 8-11, on BlackRifleCoffee.com, there will be a sitewide 30% discount, excluding subscriptions (40% for active-duty service members and veterans with ID.me verification).

Bob Evans Farmhouse Kitchen — Bob Evans is offering veterans and active-duty service members a free meal from a select menu on Nov. 11. The special 2024 Veterans Day menu features a selection of 10 delicious entrees, ranging from the Country Biscuit Breakfast to Brioche French Toast and more, available all day long for dine-in only.

Bruegger’s Bagels — Veterans, active-duty service members, reservists and military spouses are invited to enjoy a free bagel with cream cheese at participating bakeries only on Nov. 11. Valid military ID or proof of service is required.

Bubba Gump — Bubba Gump is offering veterans 20% off their meal when they dine-in on Nov. 11. Valid for parties up to 4 with valid military ID. Not valid on alcoholic beverages or retail purchases. Not valid with any other discount. Excludes all Golden Nugget restaurant locations.

Buffalo Wild Wings — Buffalo Wild Wings will offer 10 free boneless wings and fries at select locations for all veterans and active-duty service members. Available for dine-in or, if ordering from a Buffalo Wild Wings GO location, available for walk-in/orders placed at the counter only. Valid military ID or proof of service is required to redeem the offer.

California Pizza Kitchen — California Pizza Kitchen is offering veterans and active-duty service members a free entrée and drink from a prix fixe menu available only on Nov. 11 when dining in. Additionally, all veterans and active-duty service members who dine with California Pizza Kitchen on Veterans Day will receive a “Buy One Get One” coupon. The coupon is for any pizza, pasta or salad and is redeemable for a future visit between Nov. 12 through Nov. 25. 

The Capital Wheel (National Harbor, Md.) — Veterans and active-duty service members can experience The Capital Wheel for free on Nov. 11 with a valid military ID. 

Carrabba’s Italian Grill — The Italian chain is celebrating Veterans Day for four days. Military personnel who buy a dine-in entree Nov. 8-10 can take home a second entree of equal or lesser value for free. On Nov. 11, veterans can get a free appetizer or dessert and a free nonalcoholic drink.

Casey’s — Casey’s is offering any size complimentary coffee or fountain drink to all veterans on Nov. 11. Casey’s is extending the same offer year-round to active-duty service members and on-duty, uniformed first responders — including law enforcement, fire and EMS.

CentraArchy Restaurants — Veterans and active-duty service members with military ID or proof of service can receive any entrée from the full menu at half price at all 14 CentraArchy Restaurants, on Nov. 11. The special half price offer is valid for dine-in only. Participating CentraArchy restaurants include California Dreaming in Augusta, Ga., Charleston, S.C., Columbia, S.C., Greenville, S.C., Spanish Fort, Ala., and Surfside Beach, S.C.; Carolina Roadhouse in Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Chophouse ’47 in Greenville, S.C.; Chophouse New Orleans, Gulfstream Café in Garden City, S.C.; Joey D’s Oak Room in Atlanta; and New York Prime in Atlanta, Boca Raton, Fla. and Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Colonial Williamsburg (Williamsburg, Va.) — Colonial Williamsburg is offering free admission Nov. 8-11, to all veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, retirees, National Guardsmen and their immediate dependents. This offer includes: free admission to historic trades and site, admission to their two world-class art museums and complimentary shuttle service. 

Cotton Patch Cafe — Veterans and active military personnel with I.D. can claim a free chicken-fried steak or chicken-fried chicken on Nov. 11.

Denny’s — Denny’s will offer a free Original Gland Slam® to veterans and active-duty military. This offer is dine-in only from 5AM-12PM on Nov. 11. Valid military ID or proof of service is required. This offer cannot be combined with other coupons or promotions.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit — Veterans and active-duty military get a free pulled pork sandwich on Nov. 11. Valid in-store, and online/app for carryout.

Dunkin’ Donuts — Veterans and active-duty service members can stop by at a participating Dunkin’ Donuts to receive a free donut on Nov. 11. Limit one per guest while supplies last. No ID required. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed using On-the-Go Mobile Ordering through the Dunkin’ Mobile App.

Einstein Bros. Bagels — Veterans and active-duty military get a free hot or iced coffee (any size) with a purchase in-store on Nov. 11.

El Chico — Tex-Mex chain El Chico is offering a free entree up to $25 in value for visitors on Nov. 11.

Eureka! — Veterans get a complimentary burger (any burger) on Nov. 11.

Eyemart Express — Veterans and military families receive 20% discounts on all prescription eyewear purchases at Eyemart Express stores and online. Military customers simply need to present a valid military, dependent, retiree or DD214 card at the time of purchase to save on top of the company’s already affordable prices. Famous Dave’s — Famous Dave’s is offering veterans and active-duty service members a free two-meat lunch combo (2 meats + 1 side + cornbread muffin). All day, dine-in only at participating restaurants. Must show military ID or proof of service to receive this offer. 

Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers — Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit participating locations on Nov. 11 will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. Cards may be redeemed through Dec. 31, 2024.

Genghis Grill — Veterans get 50% off a bowl at Genghis Grill.

Golden Corral — Various Golden Corral locations are offering active-duty service members and veterans a free meal on Nov. 11. Valid military ID or proof of service is required. Be sure to check your local Golden Corral for more details. 

Great Clips — All Great Clips salons in the U.S. are offering free haircuts or free haircut cards to veterans and active-duty service members. Non-military customers can get a free haircut card to give to a veteran and service member. The free haircut cards can be redeemed beginning on Nov. 11 through December 31. 

Grillsmith — Grillsmith is offering veterans and active-duty service members a complimentary entrée on Nov. 11, for dine-in only. Offer is good for any entree priced $48 or less. One offer per valid identification. Grillsmith is located in Florida.

Grunt Style — This military-inspired apparel brand is offering a 25% discount for veterans and military personnel on Nov. 11, with free shipping included.

Hacienda Mexican Restaurants — Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free large wet burrito for dine-in or carryout on Nov. 11. Military ID or proof of service is required. Hacienda Mexican Restaurants is located in Indiana.

Hooters — Active-duty and retired military can choose one free meal from a special menu at Hooters only on Nov. 11. Beverage purchase is required. Dine-in only. The offer is per person and only available at participating locations. Valid military ID or proof of military service is required. Offer valid only on Nov. 11. The special menu includes five of Hooters’ select entrees:

Home Depot — A 10% discount is available for veterans on all in-store purchases throughout November, including on Veterans Day.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar — Veterans and active-duty military get a free classic burger on Nov. 11. Available for dine-in only.

IHOP Veterans and active-duty military can get free red, white and blueberry pancake combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 11 at participating IHOP restaurants. Military ID or proof of service is required. Dine-in only. See your local restaurant for details.

In-N-Out Burger Veterans, active-duty service members, reserves and National Guard can get a free meal, including any burger, fries and beverage on In-N-Out Burger’s menu. All current and former members of the U.S. military will additionally receive a special edition Veterans Day decal. Proof of military service is required at all In-N-Out Burger locations open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11.

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant — Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is offering veterans and active-duty military a complimentary burger or sandwich and non-alcoholic beverage with valid military ID or proof of service at all Iron Hill locations. Any veteran’s hat, t-shirt, uniform, etc., are acceptable as proof of service. Offer valid only on Nov. 11. 

Kolache Factory — Kolache Factory is offering a free breakfast for all veterans and active-duty service members on Nov. 11 from 6AM-2PM at all locations nationwide. Enjoy one free kolache (any kind) and one cup of freshly brewed Katz coffee (any size). Military ID or DD 214 must be presented to redeem the offer.

Logan’s Roadhouse — Logan’s Roadhouse is offering veterans and service members a free meal from a select menu, at participating locations from 11AM-3PM on Nov. 11th. Dine-in only. Guests must show military ID or proof of service to redeem the offer. The select menu includes:

Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que — Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que will be offering a free entree, a pulled pork sandwich or personal sized fried chicken on Nov. 11. They will also be handing out $10 bonus cards to all veterans to be used for a future purchase while supplies last. Military ID or proof of service may be required. Macaroni Grill Italian Restaurant — Macaroni Grill is offering veterans and active-duty service members free spaghetti and meatballs with an honor table on Nov. 11. Military ID or proof of service may be required to redeem the offer. 

Marine Corps Exchange — In honor of the Marine Corps Birthday and Veterans Day, participating MCX locations are offering customers free brewed coffee on Nov. 7 and 8. Excludes Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, food court vendors, Frazil Café Tango and refillable mugs previously purchased. While supplies last. 

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants — Veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard, Gold Star parents and Gold Star spouses can get a select half-priced entrée from an exclusive Veterans Day menu on Nov. 10.

Mission BBQ — Mission BBQ is offering a free sandwich for veterans and active-duty service members on Nov. 11.

MOD Pizza — MOD Pizza is inviting veterans, active-duty service members and spouses to enjoy their all-new Mega Cookie for free only on Nov. 11. This delicious cookie is filled with gooey milk and dark chocolate chunks, warmed to perfection and sliced into six shareable pieces. To enjoy this sweet gesture, simply present a military ID while purchasing any MOD-sized pizza or salad at your local MOD Pizza. This offer is available in-restaurant only.

National Harbor — National Harbor will celebrate Veterans Day with a host of exciting activities leading up to and on Nov. 11. On Nov. 11, admission is free for all active duty, former and retired military personnel.

Old Chicago — Old Chicago is offering veterans and active duty service members a FREE entrée from a select menu at all participating locations with a beverage purchase. PGA District in Frisco — From Nov. 9 to Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty military can receive a 25% discount for food and nonalcoholic beverages at Lounge by TopGolf and Ice House.

Pluckers Wing Bar — Free meals are available for veterans and active-duty personnel on Nov. 11. The free meal includes an entree, a side and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Raising Cane’s — Any active or nonactive military and their spouses get 10% off their entire purchase on Nov. 11 when they mention the Hero Discount Program at the register. Valid military ID is required.

Red Robin — On Nov. 11, veterans and active-duty service members can get a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger featuring their new thicker, juicier burger, topped with Red’s Secret Tavern Sauce and served with the choice of a bottomless side, including Red Robin‘s famous bottomless steak fries, yukon chips, steamed broccoli or side salad. Additionally, new this year, at participating Red Robin restaurants, guests can join in sharing their appreciation for the nation’s heroes by purchasing gift cards that will be donated to local veteran organizations serving our communities. Shane’s Rib Shack Active-duty and retired military can get a free Slow-Smoked BBQ Pork or Chopped BBQ Chicken Plate on Nov. 9-11.

Sonic Drive-In On Monday veterans can enjoy shakes for half the price, for any size and flavor and including both Classic and Master Shakes.

Silver Fox Veterans receive a free entree up to $30 when they visit this steakhouse serving USDA prime meat and seafood on Nov. 11.

Starbucks — Veterans, active-duty service members and spouses can get a free 12-oz coffee at all Starbucks locations.

Taffer’s Tavern — 50% off plates and handhelds to veterans and active-duty service members from Nov 11-17.

Take 5 — Take 5 Oil Change is using Veterans Day to remind customers that it offers a 25% discount on oil changes year-round, for all active, reserve, and retired military personnel that can provide proof of service.

Target — Veterans, active-duty members of the military and their families can get 10% two qualifying purchases with Target Circle from Oct. 27 to Nov. 11. Look for signs with QR codes in stores or redeem the bonus online.

Texas Roadhouse — Veterans and active-duty military can get a free meal voucher at any Texas Roadhouse location on Nov. 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The vouchers can be redeemed through May 31, 2025.

T.G.I. Friday’s — On Nov. 11, T.G.I. Friday’s is offering a free meal between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Special menu including: Cheeseburger and Fries, Crispy Chicken Fingers with Fries and Coleslaw, Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken, Half-Rack of Ribs and Choice of Side, Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. The offer is for dine-in only.

Trout Unlimited The national nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring North America’s cold water fisheries and their watersheds is offering veterans, active-duty service members and reservists a free, one-year trial membership. Village Whiskey Village Whiskey is honoring those who have served by offering a free VW Mac Burger all day on Nov. 11th (for dine-in only). The VW Mac Burger consists of two smash patties, pickles, new school American cheese, smoke thousand island, and crisp lettuce. Guests must show proof of service with a military ID (one burger per ID).

Wendy’sVeterans and active-duty service members can receive a free Breakfast Combo at participating U.S. Wendy’s locations. No purchase required. Only available at restaurant and excludes digital, delivery and kiosk ordering.

Whataburger Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free 16-ounce Hot or Iced Coffee starting on Nov. 11. Veterans and active-duty armed forces members in uniform or with a valid ID can stop by any dining room to grab their free coffee. This free coffee offer will be available every day, all year long.

Yard House A free appetizer to those who have served. The offer is available all day, in-restaurant only, no proof of ID required.

Yogurtland Military members get 15% off on Nov. 11.
