The Gary Sinise Foundation honored first responders, active-duty military, veterans and their families with the Invincible Spirit Festival at Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston in Texas on Friday.
The festival showed appreciation toward those who serve the nation with free food and entertainment. Attendees enjoyed a rock and roll performance by award-winning actor and the foundation’s founder, Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band — who have played more than 570 concerts in support of active-duty military, veterans and first responders.
This is the seventh time the Gary Sinise Foundation has hosted the festival at BAMC.
The Gary Sinise Foundation is a veterans charity and service organization that aims to honor and serve the nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders and their families. The foundation does this through various programs, events and initiatives.
