In addition to ceremonies in the United States, more than two dozen Memorial Day remembrances will take place this weekend at American Battle Monument Commission cemeteries in 10 countries.
Active-duty personnel, survivors of past conflicts and loved ones of those who died fighting for the United States are in attendance at many of the observances. This year’s events will be held Saturday, Sunday or Monday, depending on location.
