After weathering a three-game losing streak this season, Guam High now finds itself in the island football playoffs.

Noah Harris rushed for three touchdowns, Judah Alcantara added a running and receiving TD and quarterback Braden Flinn accounted for 285 yards total offense as the Guam High routed John F. Kennedy 34-7 Friday at Panthers Field.

It was the Panthers’ third straight victory, giving them a 4-3 record, while the Islanders fell to 2-5 and out of the four-team playoffs, which begin next Friday.

Guam High will face Father Duenas Memorial (6-0), the top seed, an eight-time defending champion and winner of a Pacific-record 78 straight games. Southern will play against George Washington in the other semifinal. Those two schools were set to play each other Friday night to finish the regular season.

Harris rushed for 92 yards on seven carries, Braden added 62 yards on two attempts and Alcantara ran four times for 32 yards.

Flinn was 13-for-16 for 220 yards. Alcantara caught seven of those passes for 152 yards with a TD.
