Noteworthy — The Dragons were one out away from a 19-2 three-inning win and vengeance for Tuesday’s 17-2 loss, when the Panthers answered with 13 two-out runs in the third inning and 25 total unanswered runs. The pitching staffs combined to walk 39 batters and hit eight batsmen. It was the highest-scoring game in the 20 years of DODEA-Okinawa high school softball, and it took just under four hours to complete. The Panthers lead the season series 8-2.
