WEST POINT, N.Y. — Army quarterback Bryson Daily rushed for 136 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, and he passed for another score as Army beat UAB 44-10 on Saturday to extend that nation’s longest active winning streak to 10 games.

Army (6-0, 5-0 American Athletic Conference), which has won its last five games at Michie Stadium dating to last season, is off to its best start to a season since the 1996 began 9-0.

UAB (1-5, 0-3), which was coming off a 71-20 loss to Tulane last week, fell behind 44-3 before a 90-yard drive ended in a touchdown with 2:01 remaining.

Army built a 27-3 lead before attempting its first pass.

Army linebacker Eric Ford sacked Jalen Kitna on fourth-and-goal with 5:41 left before halftime. On the next play, Daily found Casey Reynolds along the left sideline for a 34-yard gain. After back-to-back runs by Kanye Udoh, Daily attempted his second pass to a wide-open Reynolds over the middle for a 50-yard touchdown and a 34-3 lead.

UAB got into the red zone on its next possession before Casey Larkin made his second interception of the game near the goal line after a pass went through the hands of a receiver.

Army still has not trailed in a game this season.

Kitna went 25 of 39 for 242 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions for UAB.

Next up for Army is East Carolina on Saturday at Michie Stadium (noon ET).

Air Force falls to 1-5

Devon Dampier accounted for three touchdowns to lead New Mexico to a 52-37 victory over Air Force on Saturday night in Albuquerque, N.M.

Dampier was 15-of-20 passing for 179 yards with a touchdown. He scored twice on the ground and finished with 50 yards rushing on 11 carries.

Eli Sanders added 80 yards rushing and two scores for New Mexico (2-4, 1-1 Mountain West Conference).

Dampier threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Nic Trujillo to stretch the Aggies’ lead to 21-10 with 5:05 left in the second half. Tylor Latham answered for Air Force with a 4-yard touchdown run before Dampier’s 2-yard touchdown run made 28-17 just before halftime. Dampier also had a 7-yard TD run in the first quarter.

The Aggies scored 17 points in the third quarter, capped by Sanders’ 31-yard touchdown run to stretch the advantage to 45-17. Sanders added a 35-yard TD run to make it 52-24 with 10:54 left.

Quentin Hayes completed 4-for-7 passes for 79 yards and ran for 103 yards on 18 carries with a touchdown for Air Force (1-5, 0-3).

Next up for the Falcons is Colorado State at home Saturday (8 p.m. ET).

Navy, at 5-0, had the week off. The Midshipmen host Charlotte on Saturday (3:30 p.m. ET) in Annapolis for homecoming.
