Far East Cross Country Meet
Monday and Tuesday at Misawa Air Base, Japan
Participating schools — Division I: Guam High Panthers, John F. Kennedy Islanders, Kadena Panthers, Kubasaki Dragons, Nile C. Kinnick Red Devils, Humphreys Blackhawks, American School In Japan Mustangs, St. Mary’s Titans, Seisen Phoenix. Division II: Yokota Panthers, E.J. King Cobras (boys only), Matthew C. Perry Samurai, Robert D. Edgren Eagles.
Format — 3.12-mile individual race on Monday. Team relay on Tuesday. Teams run in pairs, with one boy and one girl running two 2.5-kilometer legs each.
Defending team champions from 2022 virtual Far East meet — Division I: Kinnick overall and girls team champion, Kadena boys team champion. Division II: Matthew C. Perry overall and girls team champion, Yokota boys team champion.
