Frankfurt, Jan. 7 — Les Paul and Mary Ford, "Mr. and Mrs. Music," came to AFN this week and within 48 hours recorded more than 14 interviews and "March of Dimes" programs.

The duo, whose record sales now total more than 15,000,000, also managed several brief public appearances in enlisted men and oficers clubs in the Munich and Frankfurt areas.

Now on vacation in Europe, Paul and wife Mary took time out for trips to Munich and Frankfurt especially to record some material for AFN stations in those areas and for use over all of the network’s stations.

In Munich, the Capitol recording artists appeared on that AFN station’s "Morning Report" with Ken Kirklander; "Luncheon in Muenchen" with M Sgt Don Colasanti; and "Bouncin’ in Bavaria" with Sgt Larry Butcher.

The two entertainers, whose recording "Vaya Con Dios" is nearing the 4,000,000 mark in sales, also cut an audition tape with Colasanti for a new show which AFN is considering programming.
