Military working dogs have been a crucial part of warfare for more than a century, proving their loyalty and skill in some of the most dangerous conditions. During World War I, K-9s served as messengers, scouts and battlefield medics, helping save countless lives with their speed and intelligence.

March 13 marked K-9 Veterans Day, a time to recognize the vital contributions of these service animals. Watch this video for details.
