Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is scheduled to visit air bases in Turkey and the United Kingdom later this month as part of U.S. Air Forces in Europe Services’ 2006 Extreme Summer program.

Fitzgerald, a college standout at the University of Pittsburgh, is a key contributor on the Cardinals offense, which now boasts running back Edgerrin James and rookie quarterback Matt Leinart. As a result of his success, Fitzgerald was selected to play in the 2006 Pro Bowl.

Fitzgerald’s scheduled tour of USAFE bases is as follows:

June 19 and 20: Izmir Air Base, TurkeyJune 21: Incirlik Air Base, TurkeyJune 23: Menwith Hill, United KingdomJune 24: RAF Fairford, United KingdomJune 25: RAF Alconbury, United KingdomJune 26: RAF Croughton, United KingdomBy attending Fitzgerald’s visits, those participating in USAFE Services’ Extreme Summer can earn points and become eligible to win prizes, including a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
