World Philly Cheesesteaks’ rendition of their eponymous attraction goes for 11,000 won, or about $8, and is prepared with finely chopped beef and cheese topped with onions, bell pepper, jalapenos and mayonnaise. You can add extras in the form of bacon, extra meat and shrimp for 3,000 won, or about $2, and cheese for 1,000 won, or about 75 cents.

Even far from its origin, this cheesteak delivered a mouthwatering experience that left me longing for more.

To accompany the cheesesteak, I ordered Cajun cheese fries that go for 9,000 won. The fries themselves were pretty good but were elevated by the parmesan and yellow cheeses.

Besides subs, fries and other popular American sides, this place doubles as a coffee spot offering the typical selection such as café latte, caramel macchiato and cappuccino.

Another option if you are not in the mood for subs and have a sweet tooth are acai bowls and homemade cookies.

The restaurant also offers some alcoholic beverages such as popular international beers and the local soju.

Although unassuming on the outside, each glance at this mom-and-pop restaurant reveals more, so be it for their amazing Philly subs, or their coffee and homemade cookies, it will have something to cure your hunger.
