Steak Man is an inexpensive, family-friendly restaurant in Mizuho. I selected it for a birthday dinner since my family often passes by during our frequent trips to that area.
Steak Man has adequate parking for an easy in and out. Inside, you’ll find seating for about 30, including a bar with several stools.
Don’t fret if your Japanese skills are limited. An English menu is available. The staff was friendly and patient as we ordered.
I chose the large Ajimori set that included a chuck eye steak and diced prime rib steak with corn. I added a side of rice for a total of 2,640 yen, or about $19.
My wife enjoyed two veggies and a plate of rice with her 10 ½-ounce diced prime rib steak for 2,310 yen. Self-serve rice and soup were also available.
From the children’s side of the menu, my son got a neat meal set for 748 yen served in a dish shaped like a toy car.
Other sides included salads and a couple of small desserts are listed on the menu. There is also an all-you-can-eat option available every day with prices ranging from 550 yen to 3,245 yen.
Space near the checkout register was a little cramped as we paid to leave, but the dining experience fit the bill. Our bill came to slightly over 7,000 yen including beverages. It is definitely worth another visit.
