Outdoor pools around the KMC set to open soon

With temperatures on the rise, outdoor swimming pools across the Kaiserslautern area are preparing to make a splash in the coming weeks.

Curious when pool season starts near you? Here’s a breakdown of local opening dates.

Winnweiler: Opens April 21, with two sessions from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Entry is 5 euros for adults and 3 euros for children age 10 and up. Kids 9 and under enter free.

Eisenberg: Opens May 1, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is 6 euros for adults, 3 euros for ages 6–18, and free for children 5 and under.

Altenglan: Opens May 17, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Entry costs 4.50 euros for adults and 2.50 for children 6–18. Ages 5 and under get in free.

Wolfstein: Also opens May 17, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Adults pay 4 euros. Youth 15–17 pay 1 euro, and children 7–14 pay just 10 euro cents. Free for ages 6 and under.

Waschmühle in Kaiserslautern is currently facing maintenance issues and has not announced if it will reopen this year.

The outdoor pool at the Azur leisure complex in Ramstein-Miesenbach is closed this season for renovations.
