Easter is coming up, and there’ll be a variety of events on base and near U.S. military installations.

Baumholder: An Easter fair will take place Thursday through April 28, including rides, food, drinks and live music. On Good Friday, the fair will be closed.

Kusel: The town is holding its first Easter fair, or Osterkirmes. It is already open and runs until April 21. Expect rides and food stalls at the fairgrounds. There’ll be fireworks on the final night.

Kaiserslautern: The Gardenschau offers an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday in its Neumuehlenpark area. As soon as the gates of the park open at 9 a.m., the search for Easter goodies will begin. Attendees can visit the Easter Bunny between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Ramstein Air Base: Events include a Bunny Bowl Bash with bowling and the Easter Bunny at the Ramstein Bowling Center on Friday; an Egg Hunt with times for various age groups at Woodlawn Golf Course on Saturday; and an Easter Sunday Brunch at the Officer’s Club on Sunday (reservations required for brunch).

Vogelweh: An Easter brunch on Sunday will feature two seatings and visits with the Easter Bunny at Armstrong’s Club (registration is required).

Zweibruecken: An Easter egg hunt will also take place Saturday at the Rosengarten.
