Looking for something to do this weekend? Whether you’re sipping whiskey, chasing flying discs with your pup or grazing your way through a food truck lineup, there’s plenty happening around the KMC April 5–7.

“Bark in the Park”: Grab your leash and your best four-legged friend for an afternoon of fresh air and “ulti-mutt” fun. Ramstein’s dog park will host a laid-back community gathering featuring open space for play and a little friendly flying disc competition Friday starting at 1 p.m. It’s a great chance for dogs to stretch their legs and humans to meet fellow pet lovers. Free admission.

Bourbon tasting: Whiskey fans, this one’s for you. Maker’s Mark is in the spotlight at Delias Whiskyshop this Friday at 6 p.m., with a brand ambassador on hand to guide guests through the history and tradition of the iconic Kentucky bourbon. Attendees will sample seven different whiskies — and yes, there will be water, bread and snacks to keep your palate grounded. Cost is 49.90 euros per person. Spots are limited, so book ahead.

Street food festival: Bring your appetite and a little pocket change as the The Original Street Food Festival returns outside Kaiserslautern’s soccer stadium this weekend with dozens of food trucks and vendors serving up everything from vegan treats to meat dishes. The festival runs Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Entry is 4 euros and kids under 12 get in free.

Spring festival: Ramstein’s city center is turning festive this Sunday with live music, food and drink vendors, shopping stalls and a lively spring atmosphere. It’s a great family outing and shops in the town center will be open from noon to 5 p.m. — perfect for browsing between bites. Admission is free.

Sunday shopping: Missed your chance to run errands on Saturday? No worries. Kaiserslautern’s downtown shops will be open Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. for a rare Sunday shopping window. Pair it with lunch at the food festival for a full afternoon out.
