Kaiserslautern police shut down illegal basement cannabis-growing operation

Kaiserslautern police discovered more than 1,500 illegal cannabis plants being grown n the basement of a western district building on Monday, according to Westpfalz Police Headquarters.

Although no arrests have been announced in connection with the bust, the cannabis plants and the electrical equipment used to grow them indoors have been confiscated by police.
