Kaiserslautern’s Stadtbildpflege, or city image maintenance department, has published a 2025 waste management booklet for English speakers who live in Kaiserslautern city. The 32-page Garbage Guide for the City of Kaiserslautern offers information on how to dispose, reuse and avoid waste.

The booklet provides addresses and opening hours of the municipal recycling centers, information on waste disposal dates published in the Stadtbildpflege app and website, including locations and dates for hazardous waste disposal. The booklet also gives an illustrated overview of correct waste separation.

The guide is available at the municipal recycling centers, city hall and the municipal utilities office (Stadtwerke). An online version can be downloaded at www.stadtbildpflege-kl.de.
