Two people attacked a taxi driver early Monday morning at Stiftsplatz, authorities in Kaiserslautern said in a statement.
A man and a woman got into the cab around 4:20 a.m. The woman then threatened the driver, holding an unidentified object to his neck, according to Westpfalz police.
They said that the driver handed over his wallet containing several hundred euros and that the pair ran off without being identified. The driver was unharmed.
An investigation is underway and witnesses to the crime are asked to call the Westpfalz Police Department at 0631-36913312.
