1. FC Kaiserslautern heads to Franconia for a Friday evening match against SpVgg Greuther Fürth. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. at Sportpark Ronhof.

The Red Devils are coming off last weekend’s 2-1 home win against Ulm and are hoping for another victory against their 14th-placed hosts. Kaiserslautern is in fifth place, but with 29 points, only two behind second division leader Hamburg.

FCK coach Marcus Anfang has a wide choice of players for the starting lineup with everyone on board except for the convalescing Hendrick Zuck and Almamy Toure.

The club announced yesterday that it picked up Grant Ranos for the rest of the season, on loan from Borussia Mönchengladbach. The 21 year-old offensive player has 17 caps for Armenia, scoring four goals, but is not expected to suit up for the Red Devils this weekend.

Around 3,000 supporters are expected to follow their team to Fürth, making a sold-out visitors’ section at Ronhof.

The Red Devils return to Fritz Walter Stadium Feb. 2, for a 1:30 p.m. match against Preussen Münster.
