The Red Devils are back in action Saturday following the winter break and take on SSV Ulm at Fritz Walter Stadium.
Kaiserslautern is coming off two league losses prior to the break, a 5-1 in Darmstadt and a 1-0 to Cologne at home, and hopes to return to winning ways against the second division newcomer, whom they beat 2-1 in the season-opener.
FCK is in nineth place with 26 points, while the Spatzen (sparrows), as Ulm is nicknamed, are 12 points behind in 16th place.
Club officials are expecting around 43,000 spectators on the Betzenberg for the match that kicks off at 1 p.m. There are still tickets available for seats on the east end of the stadium on the team’s website.
