Things to do in the KMC: New Year’s Market, glow bowling and more

It’s almost time to start the countdown to 2025. In the meantime, here’s what’s going on this weekend around the KMC.

New Year’s Market: The Kaiserslautern Christmas Market returns for an encore Friday through Monday in the city center. Expect gluehwein, sausages, sweets and more. It’s open Friday, Saturday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday from 1 to 10 p.m.

Kaiserslautern Christmas Circus: It’s Christmas under the “Big Top” until Jan. 6. The holiday themed program includes acrobats, clowns, horses, magicians and more. The shows start at 4 p.m. Sunday-Friday with a 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. showtime on Saturdays. The circus is located at Entersweilerstrasse 52, on L504. Let’s Glow Bowling: Two local bowling centers each turn on colorful lights and upbeat music for some family fun. The Vogelweh event is Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. The Ramstein one is 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Country Night: Dust off your boots. DJ Wrangler plays country hits at the Kazabra Club on Vogelweh on Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
