A digital Advent calendar on the Kaiserslautern city app offers deals throughout December, from free drinks to special discounts.

The coupons are counterfeit-proof, according to the city, and new ones are listed every day throughout the month. The digital coupons are mostly listed in German, but each includes a photo, and with an extra step of using an online translation tool they are relatively easy to decipher.

Current coupons include a free glass of red wine with a meal at Spinnraedl restaurant and an all-day ticket to use the sauna at Monte Mare for the price of four hours.

The Kaiserslautern city app is available for free in English through the Android and Apple app stores under “Stadt KL.”
