The Army announced some services and facilities will close early on Friday or be closed altogether.

The call center to make appointments at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center will close at noon on Friday, according to a hospital statement. Normal hours for the appointment line are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. On the third Thursday of every month, the line shuts down at noon for training. The post office on Kleber Kaserne will be closed for the day, both the finance window and mail pickup. Both sides will be open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Also on Friday, U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz vehicle registration offices will close at 11 a.m. and be closed from Dec. 24 to Dec. 31. The garrison vehicle registration offices are located on Baumholder and Sembach. Garrison officials advise customers to call ahead before visiting facilities during the holidays to check on hours.
