1.FC Kaiserslautern played Nuremberg to a scoreless tie Friday night.
Nuremberg got off to a fast start in its home game at Max Morlock Stadium, with a shot on goal in the first minute. FCK keeper Julian Krahl knocked the ball over the crossbar. Striker Ragnar Ache had opportunities in the 53rd, 56th and 83rd minutes, but was not able to convert.
On the other end of the field, Krahl kept the slate clean with a number of saves.
Despite having 60% ball possession, FCK was not able to score, with Ache having the final scoring chance of the game. But his header missed to the right of the goal and the game ended 0-0.
