Tomorrow is All Saints’ Day and a holiday in Rheinland-Pfalz. That means all stores, government offices and schools will be closed. If you need to shop for anything on the economy, today is the day to do it. While most restaurants should be open, dancing, loud music, markets, fairs and festivals are prohibited on this day.

All Saints’ Day, or Allerheiligen in German, is a Christian feast in honor of all the saints. In Germany, it is observed as a holiday in the heavily Catholic populated states of Rheinland-Pfalz, Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, Bavaria and Nordrhein-Westfalen.
