Red Devils look to end winless streak Saturday against Paderborn

1. FC Kaiserslautern is back in action this weekend following a pause in league play because of national team action. The Red Devils host SC Paderborn at Fritz Walter Stadium in the second division Saturday night game.

FCK is looking to break a five-game winless streak of three losses and two ties that left the team in 12th place before the break. Paderborn got off to a better season start and are undefeated, in third place.

Kaiserslautern coach Markus Anfang will be missing a quintet of players due to injuries, including starter Boris Tomiak who tore a ligament in his ankle during the Red Devils’ loss in Elversberg two weeks ago.

Action gets under way at 8:30 p.m. on the Betzenberg. There are still tickets available for seats in the upper stands on Fritz Walter Stadium’s east end.
