Mannheim-bound A6 interchange near Ramstein to be back in service Monday


The first phase of construction as seen on this map is finished and the Ramstein-Miesenbach interchange on autobahn A6 heading towards Mannheim will reopen on Monday, almost two weeks ahead of schedule. The Ramstein-Miesenbach interchange No. 13 on the A6 toward Mannheim will reopen Monday, almost two weeks ahead of schedule.

Starting Monday, crews will begin securing the worksite on the opposite side. From Oct. 14 to Nov. 5, the closure will then affect traffic toward Saarbruecken.

Vehicles will be diverted through the Landstuhl-West interchange, while L363 traffic will be routed to the Kaiserslautern-Einsiedlerhof junction, according to Die Autobahn GmbH.

The times are subject to suitable weather conditions, and Die Autobahn advises drivers to pay attention to radio announcements, to travel at times of low traffic where possible, or to take expected disruptions into account when planning their route and allow appropriate time.
