1. FC Kaiserslautern hosts Hamburger SV Saturday night at a sold-out Fritz Walter Stadium.

With HSV selling out their contingent of tickets, 49.327 fans will be on the Betzenberg for the second division match.

Hamburg is coming off a 5-0 win over Regensburg, while the Red Devils have lost two straight games. They are in 1oth place with seven points. HSV is in fourth place, three points ahead of FCK.

Hendrick Zuck, Frank Ronstadt, and Kenny Prince Redondo are off the roster with injuries, and it is not sure if Marlon Ritter and Almamy Toure will be able to suit up.

Winless at home this season, coach Markus Anfang said at the Thursday pre-game press conference, “I hate losing. I want to win every game and will do everything I can to do so.”

If you have tickets for the game, officials are asking fans to use public transportation or the park-and-ride options to get to the stadium and get there early to avoid congestion. Gates open and shuttle buses start running at 6 p.m.

The Red Devils travel to Regensburg next weekend for a match against the promoted side, and then to neighboring Elversberg on Sept. 26. They return to the Betzenberg on Oct. 19 for the Saturday night game against Paderborn.
