Families can also explore the Lego exhibition.

  • The 77th annual Wine Festival of the Southern Wine Route returns to Edenkoben (Sept. 20-23): Kick off the weekend with the coronation of the Wine Princesses, enjoy live music across multiple stages and rides on the lively fairground. Don’t miss the Sunday morning wine and music concert and the open shopping day when local businesses welcome festival-goers.

  • Dive into 1,500 years of history at the new “Cross and Crown” exhibit at the Pfalz Historical Museum in Speyer: Explore the spiritual and political significance of Speyer Cathedral when an exhibit opens Sept. 20 that features relics like royal crowns and 15th-century altarpieces from the graves of Roman-German emperors and kings. Visitors can marvel at the craftsmanship of liturgical objects and learn about the architectural history of this sacred site.
