The town of Ramstein-Miesenbach will mark a milestone this September as it celebrates the 300th anniversary of its annual fair, known locally as the “Ramschder Kerb.”

From Sept. 13-17, residents and visitors will gather to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the village, indulging in local food, drinks, and traditional entertainment.

On Saturday, the ceremonial tapping of the keg will take place at 6:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:45 p.m. The highlight of the five-day event will occur Sunday, with a parade through town at 2 p.m., leading to the Alte Rathaus, or Old City Hall.

Monday will feature Straussjugend groups, which are traditional youth associations, singing at the town fountain, continuing the Kerb’s rich celebration of local customs.
