Those in the Kaiserslautern Military Community hoping to get to the top of the vehicle registration queue by the end of the week may have to wait — some more.

Today will be the last day until next Tuesday to receive vehicle registration services at Kapaun Air Station and Ramstein Air Base due to training and the upcoming holiday.

The main Kapaun vehicle registration office and the Kapaun and Ramstein substations will close Thursday for monthly mandatory inventory and training, according to an announcement posted Tuesday night on the Kapaun Vehicle Registration Facebook page. Services will resume Tuesday.

Sembach Kaserne’s vehicle registration will remain open for all transactions except temporary plates and inspections on Thursday. The Sembach office will be closed Friday and reopen Tuesday.

Friday is a military family day and Monday is Labor Day, a federal holiday. Questions should be emailed to 5695usfps.s5bv.vehicleregistration@us.af.mil.
