Stand-up comedians Sam See and Jen Kirwin are set to perform at the Kazabra Club on Sept. 6, offering a night of entertainment followed by karaoke until the early hours, organizers said.
See, an award-nominated comedian currently based in London, will headline the event. He has performed in over 25 countries and is known for his energetic stage presence, having crowd-surfed three times during his shows.
His recent show, Government Approved Sex, was featured on Fest Mag’s list of the Best of the Edinburgh Festivals. See has also served as U.K. tour support for Ed Byrne and Asia tour support for Jim Jefferies, Bert Kreischer and Kevin Bridges.
Kirwin has spent over a decade performing across the United States, featuring at major comedy clubs and sharing stages with big names like George Lopez, Wanda Sykes and Dave Chappelle.
A finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Kirwin has performed at Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. For the last 10 years she has been based in Geneva, where she created Expat Comedy Night, an ongoing series of stand-up comedy shows in Switzerland.
The night will be hosted by local comedian Erin Crouch, who will introduce a special guest, Anne Bredimus. Originally from Luxembourg, Bredimus moved to Kaiserslautern in 2014 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in biosciences and is currently studying to become a doctor.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets are available for $12 at the door. The Kazabra Club is in Building 2057 on Vogelweh. For more information, call the club at 0631-536-7261.
