A 56-year-old commercial bus driver went back for a second round with police on Thursday morning.

At around 8:30 a.m., officers stopped him at the main train station while he was driving a city bus, according to Westpfalz police.

A breathalyzer test revealed a blood-alcohol content over 0.18%, leading to his arrest, a blood test and the confiscation of his driver’s license.

Less than two hours later, still intoxicated, he was caught in another police checkpoint while driving his personal car.

He now faces charges related to both drunken driving incidents and also to driving without a license.
