The KMCC will open its doors specifically for Exceptional Family Member Program families and customers with unique needs during a sensory-friendly shopping event on Sunday, (AAFES)

The KMCC Exchange will host a sensory-friendly shopping event on Sunday from 8 to 10 a.m., Exchange officials announced.

The event is designed for Exceptional Family Member Program families and customers with unique needs.

During this time, shoppers will experience a quieter, calmer environment with no overhead music or announcements, reduced beeping sounds at checkout registers, sensory play areas, relaxation stations and family restrooms.

The store will not be open to the general public until 10 a.m.
