There’s plenty to do this weekend in the KMC. Here are some highlights:

Pack a picnic and bring a blanket for some Shakespeare at Pulaski Park, with free performances Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. In “Henry IV,” young prince Hal is caught between his lowlife friends and his royal duty. Oh, and there’s a rebellion brewing. Expect swordfighting, robbery and plenty of clever wordplay.

Zoo Kaiserslautern hosts Night of the Animals from 2 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, with live music, children’s activities and a light display.

Saturday is a big event day at the Gartenschau in Kaiserslautern. There’ll be a children’s bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with crafts, painting, food and drinks. A children’s tent with craft activities will be set up from 2 to 5 p.m. The French Garden Party at 6 p.m. features the band French Touch and sales of food and drinks.
