Music and laughter coming to the KMC this weekend

()

Here are some summer events coming to Kaiserslautern tonight and this weekend.

- Get your weekend started early with the Lautrer Summer Evenings concert series. From 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, music duo Yannisha Quartet will play live music at the Riesenbrunnen downtown.

- The second Kaiserslautern Braunacht, or brew night, takes place on Saturday in the city center. The Homburg-based Karlsberg brewery, the event’s sponsor, will be serving three new beer varieties, a Märzen, a stout and a Weizen. It all gets underway with the popping of the first keg on Stiftsplatz at 4 p.m. There will be live music on the square until 8 p.m., when the action moves to 13 downtown pubs and restaurants that will be serving the beer along with live music and DJs.

- The Beard Brigade comedy show is set to bring laughter to the community on Friday from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Kazabra Club on Vogelweh. Tickets are $12 at the door. More info at MWR.
