Music, medieval days and more: Here’s what’s happening this weekend in the KMC

Here’s what’s happening this weekend in the Kaiserslautern area.

- The “Grand Prix of Sembach” brings tractor races and fun to Sembach Business Park on Friday-Sunday. The weekend will kick off with a tractor party at 7 p.m. on Friday. The weekend of racing continues Saturday with lawn tractor races from 3:30 to 6.30 p.m. On Sunday there will be a vehicle exhibition and helicopter rides on site.

- The Medieval Summer Spectacle is Saturday and Sunday at Lichtenberg Castle near Kusel. Dance groups in colorful costumes will entertain visitors throughout the castle grounds. Vendors is medieval clothing will sell food and drinks from the period. Plenty of parking spaces will be provided and dogs on a leash are allowed.

- There’s a Pride Month party at Markthalle Music Club in Kaiserslautern on Friday night. Celebrate Pride Month at the LGBT One Love Pride Night party. There will be a dance content and rainbow shots. Doors open at 11 p.m.

- The Volkspark summer concert series continues Sunday with the Rittersberg Big Band Rittersberg Big Band taking the stage at 11 a.m. with “Swing and Sing,” offering a mix of swing, Latin and rock.
