The Esso card system will undergo a complete shutdown, affecting all ESSO stations across Europe, both on and off installations, Exchange officials said in a statement Tuesday. The shutdown will start at 2 p.m. and last until 5:30 a.m. the next day.

Esso gas stations off installations will be unable to accept ESSO cards for tax-free fuel purchases during this period.

Additionally, the Exchange will not be able to issue or renew Esso cards, and customers will be unable to load money onto their Esso cards or manage online payments.

Fuel dispensing will remain available on post, according to officials. AAFES did not immediately comment on the reason for the outtage.
