Starting July 1, residents seeking to apply for or renew parking permits will need to visit the Straßenverkehrsbehörde, or Road Traffic Authority at Rathaus Nord, or Kaiserslautern Town Hall, Room B 202, instead of the Bürgercenter.

Residents should schedule appointments in advance by calling 0631 365-4683 or emailing bewohnerparkausweis@kaiserslautern.de, city officials said. An online appointment calendar will be available before the transition date, according to a statement from the city.

Additionally, parking permits can be requested online at Kaiserslautern Service Portal, where further information is also provided.
