Baumholder police are looking for witnesses of a license plate theft on an American-owned vehicle on Saturday night.

Both the front and rear temporary license plates were stolen from a black BMW X5 parked outside the “WildCats” table-dance bar at Bahnhofstrasse 41. The theft occurred between 10:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. on May 18, police said in a statement.

Authorities are seeking witnesses who may have observed any suspicious activity in the area during this time. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Baumholder Police Department.
