Road marking work will close sections of Lauterstrasse and Mannheimer Strasse starting Monday, according to the city’s civil engineering office.

The work follows the resurfacing of various road sections late last year. The marking will result in temporary closures of affected road sections. Specifically, Lauterstrasse will be closed between Autohaus Kehry and the Westbahnhof.

Mannheimer Strasse will face closures in two city-bound sections: from Ludwigshafener Strasse to Daennerstrasse and from Donnersbergstrasse to Altenwoogstrasse. The work will also impact bus lines 108, 112 and 101. Drivers are urged to follow the posted detour signs and be patient during the disruptions.

Starting May 27, sewer renewal work will commence on Slevogtstrasse between Dürerstrasse and Käthe-Kollwitz-Strasse.

The project is expected to last approximately seven months and will necessitate a full road closure. Pedestrian access will not be affected, and residents will receive additional information.
