Eastbound lanes of highway A6 are currently closed between Kaiserslautern-East and Enkenbach-Alsenborn in the wake of a morning accident, according to the German auto association ADAC. Recovery operations are underway and a detour has been placed. The closure is causing a mile-long traffic backlog resulting in at least a 10-minute travel time increase. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and allow for extra travel time.
