Al Fahr, Iraq, March 29, 2003: A Marine sqaud automatic machine gunner takes cover behind a drop-off on the edge of a road during a raid at Al Fahr, Iraq. Company G, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines would end the day dismanteling what appeared to be a military training school and taking in 19 detainees, three of whom turned out to be Baath officials, and confiscating two long-range bolt-action rifles, 20 AK-47 and AK-74 rifles, one mortar tube, two machine guns, 10 crates of grenades, five crates of ammunition and stacks of documents.
