A maintenance crew polishes a presidential aircraft

Andrews Air Force Base, Md., July 28, 1966: Members of the maintenance crew for the fleet of presidential aircraft based at Andrews AFB polish the exterior of the plane known as SAM 26000 while in the hangar, but as Air Force One with President Lyndon Johnson aboard. The special military version Boeing 707 is now on display at the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio.
