South Vietnam, April 1967: Sgt. George Edmonds carries a wounded Vietnamese child to a helicopter on a patrol by the U.S. Army’s 199th Light Infantry Brigade in the area of Can Giouc. The boy had been hit in the hand by an errant M-16 round during fighting between American and Viet Cong troops.
