Crown Princess Michiko addresses a corps of collegiate interpreters

Tokyo, Japan, Apr. 18, 1964: Crown Princess Michiko addresses a corps of collegiate interpreters who volunteered for the 1964 Paralympic Games in Tokyo at the Japan Red Cross Auditorium. The Tokyo Paraylmpics are slated for the week of Nov. 8 at the National General Athletic Grounds. Athletes will represent 34 countries. The corps of collegiate interpreters is made up of 86 Japanese collegians from nine universities.
