USS Curtis Wilbur, Yellow Sea, April 3, 2010: Sailors on the USS Curtis Wilbur drop a ladder to passengers waiting in a raft below. The Wilbur, along with three other U.S. Navy ships and about 20 South Korean ships are at the wreckage site of the Cheonan, the South Korean Navy ship that sank March 26. Of the 104 personnel on board, 58 were rescued. The U.S. forces are on hand to provide medical and safety assistance to South Korea, as well as force protection.
