Jagadan, Afghanistan, April 11, 2005: Spc. Lee Isham of the 4th Psychological Operations Group hands out copies of the Peace newspaper to pupils in an all-girls’ class at the Jagadan village school, just outside the gates of Bagram Air Base. Isham and Sgt. Larry Carson also brought backpacks, clothes, shoes and radios to the school, and asked the principal what else he could use. About 700 children, taught by 28 teachers, go to the school in morning and afternoon sessions.
