Seoul, South Korea, June, 1976: Anywhere you looked on Yongsan Garrison, it was pretty evident that it was the year of American’s 200th birthday. Everything — trash cans, fire plugs, gate houses, movie theaters, office buildings, fire stations, buses — was painted red, white and blue. Even the SOFA Conference Room got a fresh coat.
